What is Swapotamus?+
Swapotamus is a website referral network. Website owners review relevant partners and install a lightweight widget that recommends approved websites to visitors. It measures referral clicks, without promising traffic or search rankings.
Who can join Swapotamus?+
The Swapotamus referral pilot is invitation only. Website owners can apply with their email, website, and topic. Register only websites you own or are authorized to manage.
Is Swapotamus free?+
Participation is free during the pilot. Future plans may be introduced after we understand the value website owners receive. No billing is active.
Will this improve my Google rankings?+
We make no SEO ranking promises. Recommendations are visible nofollow links designed for legitimate discovery and referral traffic.
Do I have to recommend every website?+
No. You approve partners by default, and can reject, block, or pause them. You can optionally enable automatic approval for relevant matches.
What if there aren’t enough relevant partners?+
The widget shows fewer recommendations, or quietly renders nothing. Relevance matters more than filling a space.
What do you track?+
Sampled widget impressions and recommendation clicks. We do not require cross-site visitor cookies or fingerprinting. A click is not proof of a destination visit or conversion.
